The Back Door Management System (BDMS) is a product from Mi-Jack Systems & Technology that transforms the “back of the house door” at any restaurant to a secure automated entry system. The convenient keyless entry and intelligent management system ensures that the door is open only when needed for far greater security and efficiency. BDMS virtually eliminates a wide range of problems associated with rear doors including lost keys, unauthorized access, heat and air conditioning loss, rodent and insect entry, and slow and inefficient deliveries.
BDMS is based around programmable RF Key Fobs, handheld remote devices that eliminate problems associated with keyed or combination padlock entry and allow greater control and tracking. Each designated employee and delivery person is issued a Key Fob with a unique code to track and manage that user's access to the door. When an authorized user requires access, he will use the Key Fob to activate the internal locking device for easy and secure entry. Not only does the door unlock, but the BDMS door operator automatically opens the door for easier delivery. Once the user enters the facility, BDMS automatically closes the door for enhanced security and control.
Each user's access can be customized to determine when he is permitted to access the door, and the device can be instantly disabled in the event of a lost Key Fob or personnel change. BDMS will also enable the administrator to open the door remotely if the need arises. This entry system virtually eliminates unauthorized entry and lock failure and allows the administrator to precisely control who accesses the door and when they may do so. BDMS also allows the administrator to audit to system, for a complete record of who entered and when they did so.
BDMS greatly improves the efficiency of all deliveries. With a conventional back door, restaurant owners and food delivery personnel were required to go through a time consuming ritual of key drops, entering through the front door and obtaining the key to unlock the back door, disarming alarm systems, and propping open doors for the duration of the delivery. With BDMS, the driver simply pulls up to the back door, builds the load, uses his Key Fob to
