GateCuff® is an intelligent, keyless gate access management system that improves security and efficiency at telecommunication stations and other remote facilities. GateCuff eliminates “daisy chains of locks” and prevents problems associated with keyed and combination entry such as lost keys, jammed locks and unwanted access.
The GateCuff® is a reinforced lock that is securely mounted on any fencing or gate, providing a strong and secure lock for any facility. Instead of keys or combinations, GateCuff® uses programmable RF Key Fobs, handheld remote devices that eliminate problems associated with traditional entry systems and allows greater control and tracking. Each designated employee and contractor is issued a Key Fob with a unique code to track and manage that user's access to the GateCuff®, and access can be easily disabled in the event of a lost Key Fob or personnel change. When an authorized user requires access to the facility, he will use the Key Fob to activate the GateCuff® for easy and dependable access. This entry system virtually eliminates unauthorized entry and lock failure and allows the facility manager to more precisely control who accesses the location and when they may do so.
